“Freedom Of Choice!”(Jn.1:9-14)[28/12/2024].
“Freedom of choice describes an individual’s opportunity and autonomy to perform an action selected from at least two available options, unconstrained by external parties.” Salvation has come to us as a free gift, but we have the freedom to choose. We either accept it or deny it. It is our choice, but we know that choices have consequences.
As we continue the Christmas celebrations, we are reminded that Christ is the Eternal Word through whom all things were made, but “the world did not recognise him. He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave them the right to become children of God…” We behold the glory of Christ only when we accept him and believe in him. It’s all about the choice we make, and we have the freedom to choose. But we are reminded that any choice has its consequences.
Weekend prayer: All glory and honor be to you Eternal Word and Light. Amen!
Have a blessed weekend! Peace be with you! Merry Christmas!
