“Happy Ascension Day!”(Eph.4:7-10).
Today is Ascension Day 2024. On this day we commemorate the going up to heaven of the Lord Jesus Christ, forty days after his resurrection.
All glory and honour be to God Almighty. Hallelujah!
The Ascension is important to us because the ascended Lord Jesus Christ is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; where he intercedes for us. Glory be to God Almighty! Hallelujah!
Let us rejoice and celebrate for this is part of God’s salvation plan for us. To each one of us grace has been given as the ascended Christ apportioned it. At our little corners, let each one of us make the portion of the grace received beneficial for humanity. By the grace that we have received let us continue to prepare the way of the Lord for his Second Coming.
Ascension Day prayer: Holy Spirit enable us to make useful the grace that we have each received as we await the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen!
