“In Every Circumstance God Is Working For Your Good!”
Parting is usually a painful moment among loved ones. However to live life to the fullest loved ones usually do part. A girl must leave her parents so as to begin her own home. It may be painful to her parents, but through her marriage those parents soon become grandparents. A child parts to boarding school, university, sometimes out of the country, but the long term gains are immeasurable.
Many are separated from each other and live in different towns or countries for work purposes, but this improves the family income for better economic stability. It is often good to go away! It works for good in the long run.
Before his death Jesus prepared the minds of his disciples by telling them that he will leave them. When they heard this they were filled with grief.
Jesus gave them these reassuring words and a promise: “…But I tell you the truth: It is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Counsellor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you… when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth…and he will tell you what is yet to come” (Jn. 16:5-15). The departure of Jesus and the sending of the Holy Spirit are of immense benefits to the believers.
The Prince of this world (satan) may think that he has won because Jesus will be killed, but Jesus says, “the prince of this world now stand condemned.” He has been judged and is condemned!
Paul revives our confidence and hope that “…in all things, God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose”(Rom. 8:29).
My friends, cheer up because after every storm there is a calm! God is watching your back! The Spirit is always with you to guide you into all truths and to tell you what is yet to come!
Prayer: Thank you Lord Jesus for the Spirit who guides me into all truths and tells me what is yet to come. Amen!
Have a blessed Sunday! Peace be with you!
