“Jesus Has Secured Your Eternal Inheritance!”
We can’t rule out that blood is necessary for the taking away of sin. Sacrifice is offering to deity which involves blood (death).
In our case Jesus has played that mediating role of a new covenant, “so that those who are called may receive the promised inheritance, since a death has occurred that redeems us…”
The name for a “Successor” in the Mungaka language is, “Ndzü Ndab.” – “inheritor of the house.” The pidgin English calls it “Chop chair.” This is more appealing because the stool is always there, meanwhile you may be a “Chop chair” without any house to inherit in the sense of the Mungaka understanding of “Chop house!”
Africans are often accused of being afraid to make wills, but this is not true. The difference is that the will is mostly oral. Wills concern mostly Who gets what and who becomes what? But it also concerns who does what? To become “Chop house” or “Chop chair,” “the death of the one who made it must be established. For a will takes effect only at death, since it is not in force as long as the one who made it is alive…”(Heb. 9:15-22).
My friend, Jesus has died to secure your inheritance, arise, go and possess your possession! But be mindful that every will has some conditions to be fulfilled before possession of the inheritance!
In our case, it is to keep aside every weight and sin which clings to us like shadows! Let Jesus carry it to Calvary so that you can fully enjoy the inheritance of eternal life!
Jesus has done it for you and I so that we become true heirs of the kingdom!
Prayer: Lord Jesus Christ, thank you for securing my eternal inheritance with your blood. Amen.
Have a blessed day! Peace be with you!
