“Learn To Live Each Day By The Will Of God!”
It is not an overstatement that the cemetery is where you’ll find the best of minds, the wealthiest as well as the those who wielded power and authority and who in their life times had the power of life and death over others.
I’ve sat at the feet of some of the world’s leading professors who have made names for themselves in their time and in their areas of competences. What is common in the lives and writings of such great scholars is humility. As the saying goes, “the more you know, the more you know that you know nothing.” The pursuit of knowledge therefore becomes an exercise in humility and futility!
The acknowledgement of limitedness is reflected by the absence of definitive conclusiveness in their works. Such humility is also portrayed by prompting their students to research on certain topics which have not been thoroughly critically investigated.
The long and short of it is that no matter how much you know, you always get to that point where your conclusions may be summed up in “I am not skilled to understand what God had willed, what God had planned. I only know at his right hand, stands one who is my Saviour…”
Yes my friend; the mystery of God is that its mysteriousness cannot be sensibly understood; except by faith!(Cf. Job 38:12-21). Once you accept by faith, then you become part of the mystery because the things of God begin to make sense to you!
Learn to live each day by the will of God and he will surely lead you through the path which he alone has paved for you!
Prayer: Lord you are my pathfinder; Holy Spirit hold my hand to follow as my Lord leads. Amen!
Have a blessed day! Peace be with you!
