“Praise The Lord For His Love Towards You!”
Way back in 1996 I had severe pain on my waist which lasted for weeks. Upon the recommendation of a Neuro-surgeon I underwent several tests. The final decision was that I had to be operated upon because my spinal cord hard an opening which needed refilling. The prayer groups of my congregations, Nsimeyong and Bertoua entered into serious prayers and as we write today, we have not undergone that operation.
All glory be to God Almighty and thanks to the prayer warriors.
God hears and answers prayers. When I boast that I am a product of God’s grace and mercy, it is because I have tasted it. Have you experienced it in your life?
I know what it means when the Lord healed king Hezekiah and added fifteen more years to his life.
When God heals us and add more years to our lives, it is not for us to rejoice that we are better than others. Rather it is for us to testify of his goodness, mercy and compassion!
Everything happens for a reason. Hezekiah said, “Surely it was for my benefit that I suffered such anguish. In your love you kept me from the pit of destruction. You have put all my sins behind your back…”
God does this to us because the dead cannot praise him and the dead cannot hope for his faithfulness.
My friend, look around with keen eyes upon your life and you will realise that you are what you are because of God’s love, mercy and compassion achieved through Jesus Christ.
Hezekiah says, the living praise the Lord “as I am doing today.”
Tell your children about the faithfulness of the Lord. In the midst of all the adversities plaguing us “the Lord will save you” so that in his holy place you should sing his praises all the days of your life(Is.38:16-20)!
Prayer: Lord, I will testify of your saving acts in my life and sing your praises all the days of my life. Amen!
Have a blessed day! Peace be with you!
