“The Right Time!”

“The Right Time…!”(Rom.5:6-11).
“You see, at just the right time, while we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly…God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us…”
We take special note on “the right time.” God is neither late not early. Those who give up on God and start looking for alternative means are those who do not know the meaning of patience.
Those who operate provision stores know that from opening hours to closing hours you must be present. You do not lock up by 4pm just because you have been there since 7am and customers aren’t coming. 4pm to 6pm may just be the time when customers would pour in.
God’s free grace is dispensed at the right time and it is for everyone. We do not deserve what we have gotten. It is given for free; and it is for those who take it, as well as those who snub it.
Talking about free grace, there is this song from my primary school days. I went to Google on the off-chance of seeing it there, and lo and behold; I found it. Let me put it here and let it be our sermon for today:

“1. I found free grace and dying love,
I’m new-born again,
Been long time talking ’bout my trials here below,
Free grace, free grace, free grace.
sinner, free grace, free grace,
I’m new-born again.
Oh, I’m so glad,
so glad I’m new-born again,
Been long time talking ’bout my trials below.

  1. I know my Lord has set me free,
    I’m new-born again,
Been long time talking ’bout my trials here below,
Free grace, free grace, free grace.
    sinner, free grace, free grace,
    I’m new-born again
    Oh, I’m so glad,
    so glad I’m new-born again,
Been long time talking ’bout my trials below.
  2. My Savior died for you and me,
    I’m new-born again,
Been long time talking ’bout my trials here below,
Free grace, free grace, free grace.
    sinner, free grace, free grace,
I’m new-born again. Oh, I’m so glad, so glad I’m newborn again,
Been long time talking ’bout my trials below.”

Yes, my friend; Grace found us and reconciled us to God. It’s something for which we must be so glad.
Weekend prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for giving us what we do not deserve. Amen!
Have a blessed weekend! Peace be with you!
