“You Have Been Saved By Grace Through Christ!”
Our faith is anchored on the fact that “grace stands above law.” To this end we as children of God are expected to tamper justice with mercy when dealing with others. If we emphasis on the law, then grace has no place and Christ died for nothing.
Without grace, none of us will be saved, “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.”
So we are “justified by faith apart from works of the law.” Our God is an all-inclusive God. Through the blood of Christ Jesus he has put an end to the Jewish religion of “exclusion and inclusion” were some were considered to belong, while others were outcasts!
God is God of both Jews and Gentiles; he is no longer the God of the Jews only!
We are not saved by the law of works we are saved by the law of faith, the works of grace (Rom.3:22-29). This is not a licence to continue in sin, but rather that we should strive for godliness as a response to God’s free gift of grace. We call it free but it is priceless because it was the blood of his Son that he put forward as a propitiation for sin.
Prayer: Lord, we come near to you with contrite and repentant hearts so that through the blood of the Lamb you may cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Amen!
Have a blessed day! Peace be with you!
